Contact  Jennifer Kurtz, MBA, PMP Cyber Program Director,

With current and future Department of Defense (DoD) contracts at stake, compliance is a strategic necessity that contractors can't ignore without potential consequences. With third-party certification audits anticipated for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) for roll out by the DoD in 2020, it’s time that manufacturers prepare for the DoD-designated third-party auditors. Manufacturer’s Edge, the Colorado Manufacturing Extension Program (MEP) Center, the MEP National Network, and other groups are partnering to support defense contractors with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) cybersecurity compliance.

A team of cybersecurity experts will be on hand for an all-day workshop to assist in understanding the consequences of noncompliance, the NIST SP 800-171 security requirements and scalable approaches to DFARS compliance. Through this support, defense and aerospace supply chain members will learn exactly what steps to take to control cyber risks, ensure the protection of all information, and promote both their commercial and government business success. (Please note: Per DoD grant terms funding this workshop, this invitation is intended primarily for manufacturers currently in, or contemplating engagement in, the defense and aerospace supply chains. Thanks!)
